About M&D's Theme Park :
M&D’s Theme Park is a Scotland’s Theme Park situated in Strathclyde Country Park and covers 20 acres of the Country Park. There are several thrill rides at M&D’s including, Tsunami, a scary inverted roller coaster ride, Tornado, a white knuckle roller roaster with 360 degree loops and also a thrilling catapulting bungee ride. As well as the scary rides, there are many children’s and family rides for the younger visitors to enjoy with or without parents.
M&D’s Theme park is much more than just rides; there are a whole host of attractions and amusements around the grounds. There is an area called Amazonia which is an indoor tropical rain forest with exotic animals ranging from Tarantula’s, Marmoset Monkeys to Toucans. Families can enjoy Bingo, Bowling, Pool, Snooker, 18 hole mini golf course, Giant Soft Play Area and Amusement Arcade.
There is a lot of choice for food and beverages, In Diamond Lil’s and the Bowling Alley food, snacks and drinks are available. In addition to these two places there is also a family restaurant, coffee shop, American Food court and Beer Garden.

M&D’s Opening times:
The theme park is open from March 19th to October 22nd with a few exceptions, opening times vary and range from 11am to 8pm depending on the time of year. If you wish to check the opening times for your arranged date of visiting click the following link- http://www.scotlandsthemepark.com/#/visit

Prices based on online bookings as follows:
Single Unlimited Wristbands (over 1.3m) £ 15.50
Single Unlimited Wristbands (under 1.3m) £ 11.40

There are discount ticket packages, Wimpy Food Add ons and Food Voucher add ons available.
Some areas of the theme park for example the Amazonia area are not included in the Wristband price. The fee to enter Amazonia is £5.45 for adults and £4.20 for children.
How to get there:
Get on to the M8 heading towards Carlisle, at junction 8, exit on to the M73 towards Carlisle and then take the exit on the M74.
At junction 5, take the A725 exit to A8 and at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, you will find M&D’s on the left hand side.
M&Ds is also sign posted so follow the signs if you are unsure of the way.
