Why not visit the Avalon arena and see the medieval shows where you can see jesters, jugglers, fire eaters and much more. You can also see brave knights in battle at the jousting shows held daily at the arena.
The Camelot theme park is also home to many species of birds of prey at the animal centre based here, where you can see eagles, falcons and owls to name a few, spectacular flying displays are held daily for all the theme parks guests. Not only are there fantastic birds, there are many other great animal favourites to see, from horses, mini ponies, to goats and pigs.
There are plenty of food places in the theme park grounds to choose from, serving a variety of meals and snacks from burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips and hotdogs. There is also a Wimpy here where you can buy tasty burgers or healthy salads.

Camelot Theme Park Opening times:
The theme park is open from April 9th to September 4th with a few exceptions, opening times vary and range from 10am to late depending on the time of year. Prices based on online bookings as follows:
Adults- £22.00
Children over 1m- £ 22.00
Children under 1m can enter the theme park for free
Senior Citizens/ Disabled – £13.50
For group prices you will need to contact the group booking number mentioned above to book in advance. If you group books in advance then the group are entitled to less than half price rates for groups of 12 or more.
How to get there
Camelot Theme Park is situated in Charnock Richard, Chorley between Preston and Wigan, Camelot is a short drive from the M6 Junction 27 Northbound, M6 Junction 28 Southbound or the M61 Junction 8.
There are many brown tourist signs to direct you to Camelot and park hall so look out for these.
If travelling by train then Chorley train station is around 5 miles from the venue with buses operating from the station.
